Dog Training Tip

Back to School

In home dog training available in Corpus Christi, Rockport, Fulton, Ingleside, Portland, Aransas Pass, Port Aransas and Sinton, Texas

Summer vacation is over and it's time to return to school. That means a new routine for your dog as well. To make the transition easier for your furry friend try the following changes:

1) Before you leave in the morning make sure you include time for your pup.

2) Exercise him/her and take them on a short walk or play a game of fetch.

3) Mentally stimulate them for 10 minutes with training exercises.

4) When you return home, be sure and spend quality time with your dog or if possible take them to your after school activities, great for socialization.

5) If you do not have time for any of this, research doggie day care facilities, pet sitters or even dog walkers in your area.

Changing your daily routine affects your canine and they may exhibit unwanted behaviors out of separation anxiety or frustration. To prevent this, be sure and spend as much time as you can with them.
