Rescue organizations are an incredible group of humans who have a deep love and respect for animals. These organizations foster and find suitable homes for canines and there are rescue groups for just about every breed of dog.
Rescue dogs have been used as assistance dogs, guide dogs, and many have ended up in the entertainment industry. They are so appreciative of a loving and caring home and therefore, make wonderful pets.

The Weimaraner
The Weimaraner is an intelligent sporting dog that requires quite a bit of exercise. The males average 80 pounds, while the female usually weigh in about 70 pounds. Their coats are short and sleek therefore, needing little maintenance. This is a high energy dog that adapts well to mental and physical stimulation.

The Golden Retriever
The Golden Retriever is a happy go lucky sporting dog that needs lots of attention and exercise. The males can weigh up to 85 pounds and the females can average 60 to 75 pounds. Their long coats require almost daily grooming and they thrive on exercise and adapt well to a variety of training.
